Shock the Doc (Week 18)

It was THAT time of year...the time that every woman hates:  The annual "exam".

I have been to the doctor SO MUCH over the course of the last 11 months. But,   I actually woke up looking forward to it.  For once, there are no complaints for the doctor.  I am not afraid of the scale.  Even the blood pressure cuff did not super inflate and pop off.  But the best part is.....

I SHOCKED the Doc.

There is absolutely no better feeling on Earth than completely surprising someone you haven't seen in a year.  My and my gyno..we go wayyy back.  He has seen me through 2 births, lots of gore, and several surgeries.  But he has never seen me at this size.  I got some high-fives, a big hug, and encouragement.  I truly felt awesome the entire day today.

Even the scale was kind!  I did weigh 260 fully clothed at the Dr office...but I am sticking with mine. So that means 66 pounds gone forever.

I have been drinking an extra protein  nectar every day and my weight loss has picked up.  It provides me with extra calories, protein, and water.  Since I started that, I have SO much energy.  I can't believe the stuff I accomplished over the weekend.   I will be keeping up on the extra protein for sure--I feel like I have been awakened!  Energy in the winter?  I'll take it.  I even feel a little warmer than I have been.

I have all of my protein ready to go for a few days....taste the rainbow!

Since I am feeling so fabulous lately, I decided that I need a little challenge.  Christmas is in 40 days already! It was so fun to surprise the Dr today, but I want to really surprise family members who haven't seen me in over a year.   I also want to reach 100 pounds lost by then.  I seriously cannot believe I am only 34 pounds away from that number!  Right now, I feel like I am in the "zone" and I just want to run away with it.  Can I lose 34 pounds in 40 days?  I think I can.  If I don't...not a big deal,  But I can have fun trying!

My plan is this:

1. Low on the carbs...no sneaky breading, or soups with pasta, rice or beans.  Stick to my eggs, meat, cheese, low carb veggies, and protein supplements.
2. High on the protein.  80 seems to be my number right now.
3. High on the water.
4. Do SOMETHING every day that involves movement for 30 minutes.
5. LOG my food  EVERY DAY for the next 40 days.

I might log my food here so just bear with me for 40 days :)

I think I can do it!

Here is my weekly pic!   Smaller shirt and smaller jeans!
