I felt like I should do fireworks in the bathroom this morning. OK, so I did do a little happy dance, some subtle screaming, and maybe shed a tiny tear, but I am SO happy! I am happy to see that 7 as well! Not bad for my not losing week. Momentum for next week. I measured too and the total lost is 24.5 inches!!! 12 of those from 3 places in the midsection alone. This girls is not 5 FEET in diameter anymore!
If the first 50 feels this good, I really can't imagine what the next 50 will feel like! Although I am making permanent changes instead of being on a "diet", I feel like there are a few tweaks that I can make.
1. Get more protein. I usually make my 60 grams a day, but really, for my size, I should be at 80. An extra Nectar drink at night can't hurt. I have one in the morning already. Maybe it is time to try some new flavors again.
2. The E word. MUST EXERCISE! I don't think I need to say too much more. Find something,do it, and be done.
3. Track food intake. This is something I should be doing anyway, and it is not fun, but I don't want to slip into the mindset that I can mentally track everything. I was even toying with the idea of writing a little something here every day just for accountability with a weekly recap.
My goal was to lose 75 pounds before I see my GYN Nov 10. I have been seeing him for 10 years and always whine about not being able to lose weight. I want to shock him! 100 pounds by Christmas might even be in my cards for the future. Pictures with me in them? YES PLEASE!
